- Use catchy, short headlines. If we had written our headline for this blog as This is What You Need to Do to Attract More Attention to Your Website, you may not have been as driven to come and read it.
- The first few lines are key! You have to write unique content that grabs the reader from the start. Otherwise, you will be lost to them.
- Use attractive, concise keywords that promote quality, grab the targeted audience, and are optimized for the best results.
What attracts digital readership is the short, quick way of learning about something. Internet users are not looking for long drawn out explanations.
Using SEM tags
SEM, or search engine marketing, is language picked up by search engines such as Google and Bing. Individual words, or very short phrases, that represent your product or page are key for you to rise to the top of those search engines.
For example, if you use the word “shoe” for SEM, you’ll get men and women looking for men’s shoes, women’s shoes, children’s shoes, dress shoes, athletic shoes, high heels, pumps, slippers, etc.
But, if you use “women’s athletic shoes,” you have narrowed the field. You will have a better chance of rising to the top of a search and being noticed by women looking for athletic shoes.
