• Andy Hagan and Aaron Wall's 101 Ways to Build Link Populariy in 2006.
• Some good tips and ideas in Eric Ward's link building strategies section.
• Some email writing tips for requesting links at SearchEngineWorkshops.com.
• At least a few hours worth of reading on link building strategies at linkbuildingblog.com.

This second set of link building tips are also of value, although many of the main points are covered by the first five listed above.

• Justilien (former WeBuildPages.com employee) gives some great link building advice and how-to's.
• A good forum thread over at DigitalPoint on link building and advanced link building.
• SearchEngineWatch gives us 131 link building strategies. A long read, but worth the time.
• Stuntdubl's link building tips and how to acquire links and some great advice and explanations on balancing the link equation.
• Another great post on SEOmoz for link building outside of the normal thought process.
