I'm pretty sure I've received Zeus-spam in the past. There's nothing stupider than a "we added you to our link directory; would you post a link to us?" email from somebody you've never heard of, and from a site that's got nothing to do with yours.

We've reviewed many tools similar to Zeus and just because we've reviewed them doesn't mean that we use them within campaigns we manage.
I would like to mention that reciprocals used in slight moderation to other linking methods can be beneficial, such as those that are contextual reciprocals for instance.
There are a lot of people who say that reciprocals are dead, article submissions are dead, press releases are dead, and so on. But the fact of the matter is that lots of combinations of linking methods looks most natural to search engines. So, reciprocals could be used 5-10% of a total linking campaign and the overall result or campaign be successful.
I hope this clears things up a little. ;-)
