Getting in groups of types of presentations you create can help both in terms of learning content as well as networking.

Don't forget - Slideshare has widgets so you can promote your presentations and profile from your website. Really important part of using it in your marketing strategy.

Slideshare is good slide hosting portal, but i prefer use slideboom. Slideboom.com supports power point animations it make you flash-presentation more beautiful. And also slideboom has PRO accounts for buisness idea.

It should be unlimited as far as I know. Well it was at least year ago. So go ahead, I doubt you will ever cross the limit.

But is there anyway to make backlinks on slideshare? Or is it just for search engine visibility?

Slide share is good way to promote your web site. I am usin it for log time , and get lots first pages with them.

Slideshare are doing a great job, and I'm kinda grateful for the audience that you can drive from there.
